What is FURNITURESHOP.com.sg all about?
FURNITURESHOP.com.sg is more than just an ordinary furniture shop in Singapore. Our company, DESACE is established in 2004 with a strong team of more than a decade of manufacturing background. We started out by doing customised furniture and upholstery projects for the hospitality industry. We have expanded our range of service by distributing and wholesaling of contract furniture for retail and offices in Singapore. We worked very closely with the architects and interior designers.

Who designs your furniture?
We design our pieces in collaboration with our expert makers around the world. We are manufacturers and also have a very close relationship with just a handful of brilliant furniture makers and designers in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Europe.
Do you have a shop or a showroom?
No we don’t have any showrooms or shops; we are online only. We avoid costly overheads, such as renting permanent retail spaces and this enables us to keep our prices low. We are happy to send out fabric swatches so you can see the colour and texture that interests you. Simply contact us with your request.
How do I know whether the items are good quality?
Factory integrity is very important to us and our hands-on approach with each manufacturer and staff ensures we meet strict workplace compliancy standards. We check on every production before they are shipped out.
We have been working with the renowned hotels and commercial clients in the region. We are very proud of ourselves that we have a strong relationship with them.
We are absolutely certain that our products will meet your standard and appealing to you when you see the piece of furniture deliver to your home.
These prices are too good to be true; is the furniture good quality? Yes, our prices are lower because of our ultra-efficient business model, not by cutting corners. We produce furniture for retailers overseas and we are giving direct cost to you without high mark up as we don’t have any high rental retail outlet.
How do you work out your price comparison? Our high-end shop price comparisons are based on products sold by other retailers that we consider to be the closest equivalent in terms of design, functionality and materials.
As some of our products are unique our comparisons may not be identical, so we match the closest equivalent, excluding those that are made from materials which have significantly different production costs.
We aim to find the most appropriate comparison products available in retails and we check our prices every month to ensure they are up to date.

Why do I pay the full amount at the point of order when my furniture won’t be delivered for a while?
We’ve built our business to work in the most efficient way possible to offer our customers the best prices and a single payment helps to keep our administration costs low.
How can I pay?
We accept credit card payment via PayPal if you order online. We also accept bank transfer. Please find the bank details as follow and make a transfer with the correct invoice amount.

Can I change my order after I’ve placed it?

I would like to cancel my order. What should I do?
We’re sorry to hear you wish to cancel your order, but we understand circumstances can change. If you would like to cancel your order, please refer to Returns & Refunds section.
My product arrived, but it’s not what I expected. Can I return it?
We hope you love your new piece of furniture, but if you get in touch within 7 working days of receipt (starting the day after you have received your delivery) with your invoice number we will organise collection at your earliest convenience.
The item must be returned in its original packaging. Please refer to Returns & Refunds section.
My product arrived damaged, can I exchange it?
We are really sorry if your product arrived damaged. We do use robust packaging but sometimes damage can occur in transit. If we have a replacement available we will exchange it for you as soon as we can, or we will offer you an alternative. Please refer to Returns & Refunds section.
How does delivery work?
After we’ve dispatched your order, our delivery company will be in touch with you to organise a delivery date. You’ll be offered the first available date, with an indication of AM or PM, though you can of course choose another day if more convenient. You will also receive a 3-hour time slot prior to delivery. If you fix a date and your plans change that’s not a problem, but please let us know beforehand. Please refer to Delivery Section for more information
What are the delivery charges?
Thank you for giving us an opportunity to have DESACE products to be place at your lovely home or office. We are glad that you have enjoyed so much savings with us and all we want is to have a little fee for delivery your items to your home. But not to worry, if you spend more than S$999 we will waive off the delivery charges.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes, we are able to arrange the furniture to ship to your country. Please do take note that the above delivery charge will not apply for oversea. Please do contact us for the shipping charges.
What is your warranty policy?
DESACE will replace or repair any material or workmanship defect. Our manufacture warranty is one year from date of shipping. For warranty to be in effect, products must have been used for its intended purpose through normal use; products are not covered by warranty if used for commercial purposes or defect is from causes beyond normal wear and tear.
Are finish colours accurate?
All photos on our website have been taken by professional photographers under lighting conditions that are typical in a house. We try to accurately show the finish colour and texture as best we can. How these photos display on any individual monitor and output from any printer can vary widely based on the different settings.
